Bear Wisdom

How is it that one of the most fierce mammals came to be called a Teddy Bear?  I am astounded at the wisdom of these beasts and believe beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their real magic lies in knowing when to summon and respond with  ferocity and when to surrender to a giant, soft, cuddly mass of fur and warmth.  In caring for themselves so supremely - literally going into a cocoon of regeneration and meditative stillness as hibernation calls for, they bring back their wisdom to their waking hours with fortitude and resilience beyond compare.  May we all learn from these holy animals.

Rose Hip Seed Oil, or Rosa Rubiginosa, mimics all the properties and wisdom that bear has.  The oil comes from the concentrated and compacted strength - the essence left over after the soft roses blossom, in the form of the hips. From soft and open repose, comes great power. This oil is one of most effective teachers of suppleness, and can transform the worst scars or wounds to healed skin, dewey and new.  This oil also contains some of nature's most potent immune stimulants...ferocious fighters.  Bears, during the transition seasons, eat large quantities of rose hip seeds - anyone going for a hike in the woods sees the evidence, readily, in their scat.  As one of nature's richest sources of lycopene, they burst with Vitamin C and antioxidant properties.  Just as bear's instinctual wisdom guides them to Osha Root for wellbeing, so too they load up on their vitamins in a spirit of self preservation and body intelligence.

I use this oil internally, and drink 1 tsp. per day to provide nutrients, minerals and healthy oleation for my GI tract.  I use this oil on any scars, for self care of my facial and neck skin, and recommend it for any woman's most sensitive and tender skin of their vulva after childbirth, episiotomies, or abrasion after sex.  This seed oil is highly anti-cancer, anti-viral, great for liver toxicity, and has many other uses.
