THRESH – HOLDs

To THRESH is to separate or beat out one part from another, as in grain or wheat.  A HOLD is a safe seat, or place that is protected.  So, the word threshold is born to reflect a place we cross into safety and wholeness - a nest so to speak, and an escape from one state of being to the next, such as from the secular to the sacred.
